Discussion on Work Energy Theorem

Dear Learners from today will  discuss one topic every day on our Blog

And Todays topic is Work Energy Theorem

Statement:-  This theorem states that the work done by the net force on an object is equal to the change in the kinetic energy of the body.

Mathematically

Final Kinetic Energy - Initial Kinetic Energy = Work Done

Can we state this theorem in a larger sense ?

  1. Yes we can say that work done is equal to to total change in energy in any form it may be KE PE or any other foem

  2. For both Kinetic and Potential Energies first work has to be done , that work done get stored in the form of energy. Potential and Kinetic will be decided by the purpose for which work has been done.
